LEADERSHIP
Damien Davis, President
Damien has been active at Newfield Construction since 1977 and has worked in every management capacity including Project Management, Estimating and Marketing. As Newfield's current Chief Executive, Damien is responsible for the management of all facets of our operation with a primary goal of total customer satisfaction. He consistently focuses the organization on the highest level of project performance, maximizing client value in myriad ways. He is involved with every Newfield Construction project, and is always available to respond to client questions.
Paul Davis, Executive Vice President
Working at Newfield since 1978, Paul is currently responsible for construction operations. His responsibilities include direct supervision on-site staff as well as technical support for construction methods, materials selections, quality control, project scheduling and safety. In his role as Chief Safety Officer, Paul administers our safety program, which boasts one of the best records of all Connecticut construction firms, with an EMR of .75.
Diana Colcord, Vice President of Business Development
Diana joined Newfield in 2003 and is responsible for the marketing and business development functions of the firm. She works closely with senior management to strategically define the firm's direction and interacts with prospective clients to understand their needs and develop response plans incorporating appropriate service and team solutions. Her responsibilities also include proposals, presentations and public relations activities.
Tom DiMauro, LEED AP, Vice President
Tom has been with Newfield since 1998 and leads the firm's K-12 Public School Practice. He focuses primarily on the pre-construction services of budgeting, value engineering, constructability, phasing and scheduling. He is a vested participant in the Bureau of School Facilities protocols and helps our clients to maximize their reimbursement from the State. Tom is BIM-trained and a LEED Accredited Professional who subscribes to sustainable design and construction practices wherever possible.
Chuck Grabowski, Chief Estimator
With Newfield since 1989, Chuck is currently responsible for controlling costs on our client's projects. He manages the budgeting and estimating function, providing in-depth reviews of drawings and specifications to determine scope of work, pricing and bidding. He provides value engineering and constructability reviews to control project costs. Chuck manages the cost function of projects ranging from several thousand dollars to $40 million in size.
Peter Ramey, CPA, Corporate Controller
Since 1990, Peter has been responsible for the accounting and financial management of Newfield. Besides corporate financial functions, he works closely with the Project Managers to assure contractual payment schedules are met and projects move seamlessly through their administrative cycles. He develops short- and long-term financial plans and is accountable for the company's strong balance sheet.
