Franciscan Center For Urban Ministry St. Patrick-st. Anthony Church
As Connecticut’s oldest Roman Catholic Church, this urban parish caters to various community needs, including supporting those in need, alienated, and those seeking educational opportunities. Out of this mission, the Franciscan Center for Urban Ministry was born. The new 12,000-square-foot building houses a religious education center, community hall, offices, multiple meeting rooms, a commercial kitchen, and support spaces. Newfield successfully used the Center to bridge the church and an adjacent church building to serve its needs at this inner-city location.
2015 Newfield assisted the church with ADA upgrades and a new bell tower.
